Role overview
You will design, build and run the cloud environments our clients depend on — from first architecture decisions to the monitoring that keeps them stable in production. You will work directly with clients and with our software and data teams, so the infrastructure fits the product it carries.
This is an evergreen track — a permanently open talent pipeline rather than a dated vacancy. We review applications continuously and open a seat when we meet the right person.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud architectures on AWS, GCP or Azure, defined as code from day one.
- Lead cloud migrations and optimisation work, with cost and reliability measured before and after.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and container platforms that make releases routine.
- Set up monitoring, alerting and incident response for the environments you build.
- Document architecture decisions so client teams can operate what we hand over.
Required skills & qualifications
- Several years running production workloads on at least one major cloud platform.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Clear written communication — you can explain a trade-off to a non-engineer.
Preferred qualifications
- A professional-level cloud certification.
- Experience with multi-environment cost governance.
